| We are
looking for students/freshers doing/with
graduation/post-graduation/PhD in agricultural,
life science, environmental and social sciences
or post graduation in management).
The objective is to work
towards creating a cadre of basin resources
professional to meet the futuristic basin
management needs and challenges and at the
same time also to augment the project human
resources with quality man power specifically
for meeting specific short term works
These interns will work
with any of the four thematic teams or will
be given a cross-thematic assignment in
form of desk or field work as per their
qualification, experience, interest and
attitude. They will be provided adequate
exposure to the processes and techniques
of River Basin Appraisal/ Basin Stakeholder
dialogue/ River Basin Planning as per their
time of association with the project.
Depending their duration
of association with the project (1 week
to 12 weeks), they will be given a consolidated
symbolic honorarium which will be around
Rs 2000 to Rs 3000 per month.
The project will take care
of minimum living expenses and travels etc.
in the field for interns stationed at Bhubaneswar.
For out station candidates,
project will take care of their lodging
and boarding facilities or pay a basic living
expense.
IMPORTANT: It is requested
that only serious candidates having interest
to learn from and work in this emerging
natural and social resource management/governance
may seek further clarifications or send

possible for the project to go beyond the
symbolic honorarium and provision of basic
