We are looking for senior/mid
career professionals (development practitioners/academicians/
action researchers ) interested in taking
up thematic or cross-thematic studies on
river basin management in the fields of
Hydrology, NRM, Rights & Governance,
Livelihood and Micro enterprise).
They must have a Master’s
or a ‘Doctorate’ degree in related
disciplines with at least 5 years experience.
They are expected to carry
out intensive investigation into specific
thematic or cross-thematic issues as identified
by the project through comprehensive secondary
reviews. Project also welcomes ideas and
innovative proposals, if they fit into its
framework. The work will involve both field
and desk tasks. Upon mutual consent, a Term
of Reference will be developed for each
study depicting processes and outputs, to
which the Fellow must stick.
The duration of the fellowship
depends on the assignment and will be in
the range of 1-4 weeks. Depending upon the
qualification and experience of Fellow,
an honorarium will be fixed per day basis.
The project will take care of travel, lodging
and boarding arrangements during the period
of assignment.
Project and its teams will
provide all possible support to the Fellows
in accomplishing their work. Project will
have the ownership of the report/information/output
that would come out of the assignment. However,
the Fellow will be encouraged and facilitated
to disseminate/publish the outcome in his/her
name giving due credit to intellectual inputs
(by the team members or other individuals)
respecting the standards of ethics.
